Visit the Fire Control marquee for the opportunity to see how an emergency call is made, how we can trace callers calling from their home, mobile phone or a telephone kiosk. Listen to calls that have been received in the past and what advice Control operators have given to callers trapped in a fire situation.  You will also be able to see current incidents that are ongoing and ask questions on how Fire Control is dealing with the emergency.

Our latest technology helps us communicate with the fire crews to give them immediate information such as chemical information, water sources, and immediate risks in the areas. Why not come and have a go? See your school or your home on our mapping systems and view how a fire appliance would get to you. You can try out our systems to record an incident and send fire appliances to the emergency.
